Acupuncture - Traditional Medicine

This 1 hour acupuncture session includes a thorough intake, which may include a physical examination and range-of-motion testing depending on the condition you’re seeking help with.

Acupuncture is a time-tested traditional modality that utilizes fine needles placed in specific locations on the body called acupuncture points. Most people (even those with a fear of needles) find the entire process calming and relaxing. Some even fall asleep!

As someone who respects your experience from start to finish, I will openly communicate about everything to expect in your acupuncture session. I take my time, checking in to make sure that you are comfortable at all times. This is your session, and I am here to serve you. I generally use 8-10 needles each session, but can adjust to more or less depending on your preference. I gently encourage you to explore the healing art of acupuncture with me so you can reap the benefits right away!

I also include add-on services such as cupping, guasha, tuina (Chinese medical massage), and herbal recommendations as necessary.

I currently offer Acupuncture in Wailuku and Makawao (border of Pukalani and Kula) in Upcountry, Maui.
