Acupuncture in Kula, Maui

Kula is a beautiful town in Upcountry Maui, with expansive views and country style homes and shops. If you’re spending the day in Kula, why not treat yourself to some self-care and visit me for some acupuncture, cupping, or custom herbal formulations?

The office location is in the Kulamalu center, close to Longs Drugs and the Upcountry Farmer’s Market. I’d say it’s between Pukalani and Kula (although the map technically says Makawao…)

Whether you’re seeking acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, or Chinese and Western herbs, I’d be happy to have you visit me in my new space.

What to expect in your acupuncture session

This 1 hour acupuncture session includes a thorough intake, which may include a physical examination and range-of-motion testing depending on the condition you’re seeking help with.

Acupuncture is a time-tested traditional modality that utilizes fine needles placed in specific locations on the body called acupuncture points. Most people (even those with a fear of needles) find the entire process calming and relaxing. Some even fall asleep!

As someone who respects your experience from start to finish, I will openly communicate about everything to expect in your acupuncture session. I take my time, checking in to make sure that you are comfortable at all times. This is your session, and I am here to serve you. I generally use 8-10 needles each session, but can adjust to more or less depending on your preference. I gently encourage you to explore the healing art of acupuncture with me so you can reap the benefits right away!

I also include add-on services such as cupping, guasha, tuina (Chinese medical massage), and herbal recommendations as necessary or requested.
